Blackjack's attempt to rescue the alleged assassin Trinia Sabor was thwarted when Mistress Kayltanya of the Red Mantis arrived to stop him. The two traitors were then dragged before the queen, who decided to get rid of the girl in a more private fashion. As a reward for her aid, she let the Red Mantis assassin devour the vigilante as well.
