With their first nightly patrol together now at its end, Kamala and Carol return to their base so that they can relax and examine the outing's results. Once safely inside, they find the nearest couch and take up all the space available.
Mid-conversation, Doreen Green (the heroine better known as Squirrel Girl) wanders in and sees the Marvels (as well as their enlarged and wriggling bellies).
