Sub-Zero woke up in a blur, confused as to where he was and what was happening. As he came to, he noticed that he wasn't the only one that was there. In the near distance, he saw some of the other fighters from the tournament also awakening in a dazed state. Suddenly, he remembered the sorcerer Quan Chi performing a spell and blasting all the fighters while saying something along the lines of "The Queen did want a more exotic seasoning..." As Sub-Zero rose to his feet, he noticed giant boulder-sized... grapes? Before he could make sense of this new sight, he heard and felt a huge rumbling. Suddenly, everything around him was overwhelmed by the shadow of a seemingly mountain-sized figure.
All of the fighters looked up to see the Edenian Queen, Sindel, looking down at them with a voracious look on her face as she patted her stomach. "These snacks seem a lot more exotic than the dried up fruit from last night!" What Sindel didn't know was that all of the fighters (and even some of Edenia's citizens) were sprinkled onto the platter as well. The Queen reached her hand down slowly down towards the grapes. The humongous hand grabbed some of the small snacks and, unknowingly, most of the fighters with them. Sub-Zero tumbled around in her giant hand before finally finding himself on trapped on Sindel's palm. To him, it looked like it stretched out like a giant plain in every direction. All of the fighters and citizens began to freak out, wondering what to do.
"Honestly, I'm so hungry, I don't even know if I'll be able to chew!" Sindel bellowed out. Sub-Zero was confused by this statement... until it finally dawned on him.
Sindel opened her mouth wide, as everyone looked on in horror. At their normal heights, this sight would be of no consequence to any of them: just a beautiful Queen eating her food. However, at the size of a tiny ant... this was horrifying. Her mouth seemed like a giant cavern, but they could all could see everything so clearly. Her throat widened as her uvula danced and her soft palate raised. Her tongue flattened to open her throat up wider as everyone was drawn closer. The tiny victims started to slide down the palm of her hand, each landing on her soft, giant tongue after they tumbled for what seemed like minutes.
Sub-Zero landed onto the back of her throat. He instantly noticed the giant uvula in front of him and the landscape that was the inside of a Sindel's mouth. It honestly seemed like another world. Sub-Zero looked to the outside world one last time before the Edenian Queen finally swallowed them whole with her food... and right into the pit of her stomach.
