Gwen was in a hurry. She had to get her passenger to their destination as fast as she could. The passenger was anxious and kept checking their watch. Gwen tried to assure her passenger that she would get them there on time.
Gwen worked as a taxi, carrying passengers in her stomach and taking them wherever in the city they wanted to go. Experienced with the city’s layout, she knew all the shortcuts and the fastest routes. She ran skillfully, weaving in and out of traffic.
But then they hit a snag. They got stuck behind a woman working as a bus and the traffic was at a standstill. Gwen was frustrated, but she didn’t give up.
She quickly leaped off the main road and took a detour through a narrow alleyway. She hoped to bypass the traffic and get back on track. If she didn’t hurry, she would end up digesting her passenger. Worse than that, she wouldn’t get a tip!
